"Gather My Apostles"

Dear Brethren,

 It has been over four years now since the Lord Commanded me to Gather His Apostles. I have walked it out one step at a time and only at His direction to the best of my ability. I would not presume to have meetings or write news letters just because I could.

The dates of each Gathering, was given by the Lord. The timing of the Command from the Lord and the first two Gatherings we find directly correlated to the aligning of the stars in heaven that showed the woman giving birth to the Man Child of Revelation Chapter 12.

 This third Gathering in Oklahoma City was very significant as well. We were ushering in the New Year. There was a release at this Gathering and I was told to increase the work and the teaching. I truly believe that this was a very significant change in time.

 In 1979 I was caught up in the Spirit and taken to a future time to see the work of my hands. On the way to the first Gathering the Lord had spoken to me that the time of the Vision was now. At the first Gathering I was describing the ministry center as a Hub. Then a month before the third Gathering the Lord spoke to me very clearly to begin to move actively towards the fulfilling of the Vision. He told me to centralize the Apostles.

 Working as a Missionary I became accustomed to following the Lord’s commands and direction step by step and one step at a time. My life depended on it and I knew that I was allowed to see down the road only as much as the Lord would reveal. Now in the past three months the Lord has been revealing a great deal to me about the work He has called me to, allowing me to see further down the road. I believe this third Gathering was a pivotal point in time for all of us.

 We had Brethren in attendance from Senegal, Singapore, Netherlands and Romania.

 At the leading of the Lord before the Gathering, I had the hotel set up the Ballroom with round tables and we put a pitcher of grape juice at each table along with bread for communion. The Lord told me to deal with pride, arrogance and bickering right from the beginning. Pride, Arrogance and Respect of Persons should have no place in our lives in the Lord.

 I began by reminding everyone of the Lord coming to me a couple of weeks after He delivered the Command to me. At that time the Lord told me that He had almost crushed me. I replied to Him by saying, Yes sir, you have. The Lord then went on to explain to me that He had to do it because this Command could not be delivered into pride and arrogance of any kind.  I believe almost everyone received and understood the message.

 I felt that we were to spend more time in communion with the Lord seeking His Glory. Everyone was encouraged to take communion as often as they felt like doing it on their own with no one ministering it to them.

 From the beginning there was an opposition in the spirit. Something was just not right.

 Before I begin to describe what I must tell you here, please know that I have met many special and tremendous men of God who are called by the Lord Jesus to be an Apostle. But I have also seen many strange things. Many false doctrines and false Apostles. I have seen many deceptions at work. And I have found that if one is willing to presume that he is an Apostle when the Lord has not called him an Apostle, then he is also more than willing to try to lead the Apostles of Jesus Christ and His Church. Brethren I tell you that it is important for you all to have a good understanding of what is going on and how important it is to come to God’s Order under His Doctrines.

 After the first Gathering in Anaheim there were four or five men that I just had to take a strong stand against. One of these men began trying to recruit some of the others unto himself. This man was telling people that he was the man child of Revelation Chapter 12. Just today I found that he is telling people that God calls him his rod of iron.

 One day after the first Gathering, I received a startling phone call from another mans wife. She was telling me this story of how her husband went down to Texas to spend some time with the older man and came back a different man. She was telling me that the older man had taken a second wife. Her husband came back telling her that they would be moving to Texas and that he would take a second wife. According to her when she did not agree, he began to beat her into submission. She had her husband arrested. She sent out emails to all of the people who attended that first Gathering. She also sent out a letter she had received from the older mans first wife. In that letter the first wife is explaining what it is like to serve the younger thirty year old wife and her child…the cooking, cleaning and the laundry etc.

 I took a strong stand against these men and disassociated myself from them. Their error could not be allowed to blemish this work.

 These two men along with two others they brought, came to the Gathering in Oklahoma City. I was very surprised to see them there. I went directly to them questioning their presence there. I told them that we were not walking in agreement. They all assured me that they were just there to seek the Lord.

 One of the men that came with them claimed to be an Apostle and a couple of the Elders interviewed him. After the interview they became very alarmed at some of the things this man said to them. They immediately contacted me in my room. It became evident that these men could not remain in the Gathering.

 Up to this point in the meeting we had been experiencing a hindrance in the spirit. It was amazing how many of the people in attendance were discerning it and were sure of who was responsible for it. Only a few in that room were aware of the things I’ve been telling you here. Yet all knew that these four men at a table in the rear were the cause of the hindrance.

 These men had come there with their own agenda. They finally admitted to some that their intent was to pray for the Apostles there to receive the Melchesidec anointing. This just showed more of their lack of understanding and wrong doctrine. I can tell you if we had allowed this to take place the Lord would have been very displeased.

 All of the Elders and a couple of the other Apostles joined with me and we approached them asking them to go out into the hallway. Once we were there, we asked them to leave. The younger of the two men I was talking about before, began accusing me of accusing him falsely. For the record, their wives were there accusers. 

While I was ministering in Asia there were many times the Lord called upon me to stand up in authority against the evil in Teachers, Monks, Police and other Government officials who opposed me and the new converts there. I always had to take these stands alone. At the first Gathering I had to take several strong stands alone. This time, the elders and a couple of the other Apostles were standing with me shoulder to shoulder. We were in full agreement in the Will of God and it felt good. What God has put together here with the Apostles Gathering, only the Lord could have done it.

 Once they were removed, the hindrances that we had been experiencing in the Spirit left.

 Each of these Gatherings has been very much like being in the upper room with the Lord just before He went to the Cross. He was preparing His disciples then for the very important time they were about to move into. This is what the Lord is doing now with us at each of the Apostles Gatherings we have had. We are moving into a time like there has never been before.

 I am certain in my spirit that if we had not taken a stand against these men and separated them from us we would not have experienced the presence of the Lord and the Lord would have been displeased. This is a lesson to all of the Body of Christ.

 Brethren it has been a struggle to get this News Letter written and out to you. There are things in this letter, I wish I did not have to write about. After we expelled these men from the meeting, I didn’t want to give it any more attention. I didn’t want it to affect the meeting any more than it had. But the Lord wanted all to understand.

 The next morning the Lord dealt with me from the time I woke up until the first meeting at 2pm. about the need for everyone to understand the level of warfare surrounding this calling to Gather His Apostles and the many false doctrines that are preached concerning this subject.

 There is one God, One Lord and one anointing that is from God. The Lord has delegated authority to men. As the Apostle Paul wrote in II Corinthians, First the Apostles and secondarily the Prophets. A man is either an Apostle called and named to be an Apostle by the Lord or he is not. The True Apostles will move in the anointing of God and will have no need to rename it.

 The anointing comes from and belongs to God. The callings come from and belong to God. The mantles come from and belong to God. The Glory comes from and belongs to God. If the Lord has placed a mantle on us and anointed us to walk in His Glory, it is for His purposes and Will as expressed in the Word of God. If it is not used properly the Lord will simply shut it off. It is not ours to give to sell or to impart to another. We don’t own it God does. Yet we see many in this time in an attempt to bring many of the Body of Christ to themselves, having meetings where they promise to impart the Apostolic anointing in one form or another by rubbing their hands on people and praying for them to receive these things that are not in their power to give.

 We hear words like five fold, THE APOSTOLIC, Apostolic anointing etc. We hear men being very creative calling themselves things like an Apostolic Prophet (an Apostle is a Prophet of God). These are words that are used in a popular movement in some segments of the Church. These terms are always used in vague inferences. It always infers that someone is an Apostle or a Prophet.

 The Term Five Fold is a phrase coined by men to describe the five callings given by God to the Church in Ephesians Chapter four. This term is always used in a vague manner always inferring that some one or some thing is Prophetic or Apostolic. Each one of the Callings listed in Ephesians Chapter four are important to the maturing and edification of the Saints. They should be named and taught about specifically. Not grouped into one vague scenario. Ask yourself What is THE Apostolic???. Again a very vague term used to insinuate or infer that an Apostle is involved. There is no Apostolic anointing. There is however an Apostolic authority delegated by God to those whom He has Called to be Apostles.

 When Ananias and Sapphira were struck down by the Holy Ghost in Acts Chapter 5, the Lord was moving according to His own Order through a vessel He had already delegated this kind of authority to. Their sins were retained and they died in their sins. The Lord is not playing Church or having Sunday School. He means what He says and it is life and death from every real aspect.

 People of God, if your going to go to an Apostle it should be to seek out the wisdom, insight and direction He has received from God. Then the anointing of God for healing and deliverance should flow as naturally as a river flowing North to South.

 If you hear no wisdom, insight or right direction from God according to His Word, then you should not follow this man. Remember this, it is wrong to deify an Apostle. If you find a man who expects to be deified look out, he is deceived and will deceive. Those called of God to be His Apostles should be respected and listened to. In the Lord’s Order He will give direction to the Apostles for His Church. This is just another reason why it is imperative that you have good understanding and the ability to discern righteously. Discerning from the perspective of having Church and from a system of men will not work.

 It is imperative that the People of God receive good understanding and right teaching on this subject. The Lord has released me and instructed me to teach more on the subject of His Calling His Church to Order..

 While I was watching the tape of the last day of the meeting the Lord spoke to me to make those tapes available to everyone. We have video taped every Apostles Gathering and this is the first time the Lord has told me to make it available to you. This News Letter is to give a report on the Third Apostles Gathering in Oklahoma City. There is not time in this letter to go into all that was spoken in the meeting.

 The first evening we washed each others feet and ministered to each other in prayer and the laying on of hands for healing. There are many wounds among those called to be Apostles. There was an understanding of this in the midst of these Apostles that probably could not be found anywhere else. Through out the three days there was some special bonding taking place among those who attended. There was a very real sense of family among all.

 I heard some very special testimonies from some who have been walking with the Lord for a long time. The break throughs that they had been seeking they received at this Gathering.

 On the second day after the hindrances had been removed there were times during worship when the sweet presence of the Lord would come upon everyone. Several throughout the Gathering received unction of the Holy Spirit and began to sing in the Spirit acappella. It was beautiful to behold.

 On the third day the Lord had me begin by teaching and preaching. There was an anointing and a power of Authority that began to build to the place where I had all the Apostles stand up in front shoulder to shoulder to Pray as the High Priest of God in the Earth today, for all of the sins and the atrocities of every generation committed in the name of God among the Churches. More than in any other meeting I saw a true spirit of repentance come upon these men standing in intercession asking the Lord to cover it all with His Blood. This intercession led by the Holy Spirit just naturally without prompting went into each man pledging his allegiance and willingness to serve the King of Kings. It was a powerful time. All in that room were very aware of the Headship and Kingship of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 The husband of one of our intercessors saw a vision that day that moved him emotionally. Bill Garvin saw a sword cutting through the sky. One of the Elders Paul Cunningham also received a vision of the Sword of the Lord cutting through the sky and coming to earth.

 Then a short time later Paul saw the hand of the Lord holding a giant sword coming into our midst. He described it as being in the center of the Ballroom with us. The Lord said to him, “The Sword of the Lord is Burnished….who will stand with me and hold it.

At this point myself and another elder Kenneth Stevenson stood and held our hands up joined together as to hold up the sword with the Lord. We moved over toward Paul Cunningham at the microphone and the three of us joined our hands over head as to hold the Sword of the Lord. Then immediately all the other Apostles rushed to the front of the room and put their hands on top of our hands.

 Paul Cunningham continued to deliver the word he was receiving from the Lord. “The Sword of the Lord is Burnished. It is drawn from the sheath it will not be sheathed again, and will go through the land, dividing the clean from the unclean. Evil from righteousness, False from Truth, Light from Darkness.. As you stand with me, and hold up the Sword of the Lord, together we will go through the land, separating, and Righteousness will prevail.. No longer will falsehood walk with truth, Nor unrighteousness with Righteousness…. But Truth will prevail. I have raised you the Apostles Gathering up for this time, to do this work. Do not make provisions to accommodate the false… Stand for Truth.”

 After he delivered this word of the Lord, Paul said, “I saw Heaven opened and a shaft of light shining down into our midst, with Heavenly manifestations flowing freely.”

 The three of us who had originally clasped our hands together were acutely aware of the great weight that was laid upon us as the others came and joined their hands with us on top.

 The Lord provided us with a shofar through an Apostle who lived in the area of OKC. I was very impressed by two of the Apostles knowing the exact notes that were to be sounded on the shofar.

 In the evening the first moments of the New Year, I had all the Apostles stand shoulder to shoulder in front and had Ken Stevenson run down the line in front of the Apostles blowing those exact notes from the bible. There was spontaneous shouts at the top of their lungs in Praise to the Lord coming from all the Apostles. I had never experienced anything like it before. It was as though something in my Spirit was just cut away and dropped off. There was a release that was spontaneous and orchestrated by the Lord Himself. It was a powerful experience.

 Three whom the Lord has spoken to, to intercede for this ministry were able to attend. This was very special to me. I was delighted to see them there. If you are called to intercession by the Lord please seek the Lord about interceding daily for this work. The warfare is intense at times and the times are crucial. I have seen the hand of the Lord over this work continually for the past four years. I can only tell you with greater conviction and authority that this work was indeed Commanded of the Lord.

 As I have said, the Lord has been talking to me and dealing with me about the expansion of this ministry. He has talked to me about the Fellowship and Association. He has talked to me about the Vision and moving toward it’s fulfilling now in this time. He has talked to me about future Apostles Gatherings in greater number and direction for them. He has talked to me about the Internet. About using video more. He has commanded me to finish the second book “Call the Church to Order” with  subtitle “Gather My Apostles” and get it out as quickly and much as possible. It is not possible in this letter to go into all the details of each aspect.

 In short I have had much to seek the Lord about in these past three months. And the enemy has been trying to keep me distracted. As you can imagine everything He has called for here will take greater resources. Please pray over this ministry.

 The situation in the Middle East is still very serious. Remember to Keep Israel in your prayers.

 I do pray that the eyes of your understanding be opened to receive and understand what the Lord is doing in the Earth now in this time.
