Apostle Gathering News Letter Vol. 23

Dear Brethren, July 2002

First, I want to thank those of you who communicated with me in
understanding and encouragement. It is always good to hear from those who
truly understand what is going on in this time we live.

Let me begin with these scriptures.
Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of
heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the
wheat, and went his way.

Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then
appeared the tares also.

Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir,
didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto
him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up
also the wheat with them.

Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of
harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and
bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Tares are weeds. Let's consider the nature of weeds. A farmer will
carefully prepare his field and plant the seeds of his cash crop whatever it
may be (corn, wheat etc.) Weeds will invariably pop up in the midst of his
field. The weeds are undesirable. Weeds produce no good fruit, they can grow
faster than a cash crop overshadowing the crop planted by the land owner. By
overshadowing they can keep the true fruit from receiving the rays of the
sun they need for photosynthesis. Weeds can rob the fruit crop from the
nutrients and water in the soil available in the same space. The roots of the weed can choke the life out of the roots of the fruit crop.

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is
the Son of man;

Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the
kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of
the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so
shall it be in the end of this world.

Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather
out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing
and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of
their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Those who are planted by the Lord in His Kingdom are the Children of God.
Many think that this problem is not in the Churches that any who claim to be
Christian must be. This is not true. All who say they are Apostles must be
Apostles, Again, Not True.

About a year ago, a man put me on his mailing list. Some of the teachings
were good and at times seemed to lift my spirit. Then one day I received a
letter from this man that began to teach on the New Birth. He taught on the
New Birth or being Born Again as though it would happen when we all received
our glorified bodies. It was an appalling teaching. It was obvious to me
that this man had not been born again and yet he was presuming to lead God's
people thru his own intellect and mimicking other teachings delivered among
men. This happens all too often.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot SEE the kingdom of God

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot ENTER into the kingdom of God.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name
done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.

Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

The same can be said of the doctrines that you follow it is not a small
insignificant problem. The problem in these days is immense. You could just
as easily find the Lord saying you didn't receive that doctrine from me,
depart. Just recently I watched and listened as a minister who is very
popular and Nationally known, deliver a word that was completely
sociological and psychological. Nothing to do with God's Order and Ways.
Nothing to do with the Spirit of God or the Word of God. He was greatly
praised for it. As I said, It was not the Word the Will or the Ways of God.
But it was what people wanted to hear and it would open purse strings.
You must be aware people of God.

To attempt to Change the word, ways and will of God to fit into our present
day perverse society is an abomination. You and I can take great comfort in
knowing that God Changes not. We can depend on that when we can depend on
nothing else.

Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me
with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men.

Mat 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and
understand:

Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which
cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Mat 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the
Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Mat 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father
hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the
blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

I have had many come to this Apostles Gathering bringing with them doctrines
about Apostles as though all teachings out right now, come from the same
stream or same tree. This Apostles Gathering is not about some popular
movement.

Let's explore this a little. There is a teaching about Apostles being
Fathers and the anointing they seek is the anointing of Melchezedic. There
is another group who is attempting to gather or list the Apostles. Man woman
or child if you can get two people to write a letter saying that they think you
are an Apostle and you pay the annual fee, then you can be listed with them
as an Apostle. They have meetings from time to time like an "apostolic
prophetic" pep rally using all the popular buzz words. And There are some
actively trying to create new popular buzz words creating as they go along.

I know who Melchezedic is and I know what the Word of God has to say about
him and I have heard the teachings and I tell you that the anointing we are
to seek is the anointing of God in Christ Jesus. We all need the wisdom of
God to navigate through the abundance of error in this end time.

The lack of Fathers in the Body is a symptom of immaturity. You don't teach
your own children to eat meat waiting for your turn at the nipple of the
milk bottle. Maturity and good understanding of God's Word, Will and Ways
will bring forth many spiritual fathers and mothers but it must be in God's
Order. To teach anything that would suggest that only Apostles are to be
Fathers is not scriptural.

What ever God is doing, there are men and devils trying to emulate and
imitate to counterfeit. In every aspect of Kingdom of God business this is
true. Those of you planted by the Lord in His Kingdom must be wise and must
discern what is true. If you try to judge according to popularity, finances,
or from the perspective of the Churches of men, you will not have the
understanding.

Satan uses the counterfeits, to counter your faith, to bring confusion and
to wear down the Saints.

I say this with all that is within me. I know, The Lord is desiring right
now, to Call His Church to His Order and Ways so that before the end of this
age, the world will see His Glory manifested in His remnant people in the Earth. To
come to His Order, so that we may be partakers of our God given heritage, we
must return to the very basics of our faith.

Many seem to think that they are above the basics. I tell you none have
graduated or mastered the very basics of the teachings of Christ. Men
continue to try to dazzle other men with their fancy foot work. Beware!

I remember being in a park in Argentina (1982) packed full with two million
people waiting for the Pope to arrive. I was working on a news crew for NBC.
As I was working, I had several women just begin to beat on me and curse me
with all their might. They were determined that I would not block their view
of the Pope as he arrived. I remember wondering if they would have reacted
the same way if Jesus himself were coming in the simplicity that he
ministered in while in the flesh. I wondered if they would have reacted this
way if the Apostle Paul were coming in the simplicity that he ministered in
while on earth.

Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root
out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see
him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and
acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was
despised, and we esteemed him not.

Christianity in this time is under a great attack. As I wrote in Vol. 20 the
anti Christ spirit has been released in the earth like never seen before.

Catholicism is Christianity. The destruction of Mystery Babylon Mother of
Harlots and Abominations of the earth has already begun. Catholicism is not
the only religion caught up in Mystery Babylon. You need to understand what
this means and come out of her. People confuse teachings by assuming that
Babylon described in the Word of God and Mystery Babylon Mother of Harlots
and Abominations of the Earth, are the same they are not.

I realize that it is not popular to warn. But part of the problems in
Christianity now, is that no one heeded the warnings written in the Word of God.
How many of you would refuse to warn your children of known pitfalls just
because the child didn't like it. I realize that many think it is ok to
teach or preach anything as long as it makes us feel good. This is a sign of
the times we live in. Jesus said, Mat 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever
shall not be offended in me. He did not say that He would not offend. I too
hope that you will not be offended by what I write but it cannot change the
truth.

I was talking with Apostle Paul Cunningham and we began to talk about how we
knew that we had received the same thing they had received on the day of
Pentecost, when the Promise of the Father first came in. Yet many in this
day don't think that is possible. If you don't feel like you have that
witness please get just as sincere and truthful with God as you can get and
keep pressing in to Him until He answers you. Remember Jesus must receive you and only He through the Holy Ghost can perform the actual act of the New Birth in You. It is not an automatic done deal because you fulfill the requirements of a minister. John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God... It cannot be manipulated by man.

I received the fact that Jesus was the Messiah when I was 24 I experienced
many small miracles in my life and many tender mercies from him. No doubt
His hand was on my life but I continued on in my sin and my ways. If you had
asked me at that time if I was born again I would have answered yes amen.

At 27 I was told by a Doctor that I had a year to live. It changed nothing I
kept on going. At the age of 29, I really was dying. I found myself one
night before going to bed praying and begging God thru tears to heal me and
to save me. I knew that if He didn't save me before I died that I would go
straight to hell. I prayed a long time. I finally gave up thinking the Lord
was not hearing me because of my sin. I laid my head down to go to sleep on
my side. Suddenly the Spirit of the Most High God was on me and I couldn't
move. The only thing I could move was my right hand that was desperately
clutching at the bed sheets. I was feeling complete terror. In the book
Gather My Apostles I called it great fear but in truth it was sheer terror.
If the Lord had not restrained me I would have surely been running down the
street in my underwear trying to get away from it. The Lord was telling me
who He was and who I was. I knew that He could have caused my very existence
to have never happened. I knew that He could squash me like a bug. He gave
me absolute respect for His Authority and Power.

After a period of time that I cannot measure, the terror dissolved into a
tremendous Love of even greater magnitude. I began feeling movement in my
abdomen knowing that the Lord was healing me. I felt movement in my mouth
and heard a whirring sound as my teeth were being healed. The next morning I
awoke as a completely different man. I was delivered, healed, washed clean and Baptized in the Holy Spirit. Every thing was different. I could speak the word of God better than
I had learned the Word. He had written His word on the tables of my heart. I
could see and understand things that were not evident to me before. He began
talking to me very clearly making His Will known to me. The communication
that He established with me then, has never stopped. I knew what the Body of
Christ was supposed to be. He gave me wisdom when I had none. I went from a
man with one foot in hell to a man with one foot in Heaven. From there the Lord began to disciple me. No Man or Woman has ever loved me like Jesus has and does. No one Can it is not possible. Nor have I ever experienced any thing to compare with the terror I felt that
night. I made serious vows out of my love for Him to serve Him in anyway He wanted me to.

This newsletter is not the place to give my entire testimony and it was not
my intent, be assured this testimony is not complete. The reason for
putting this in the letter I believe is that we all need to have and
practice the fear of God. In recent months, I have questioned why more are
not shown this terror of the Lord that I experienced. I realize with out
this revelation of His Almighty Power I would not have been able to walk out
the calling that is on my life. When I was evangelizing among the Buddhist,
I had to fear God more than their threats against my life. I've had to fear
God more than what man's opinion of me is. I have had to trust the Lord
through many difficult and sometimes fearful situations and He has always
been faithful. The Lord found me I didn't find Him and couldn't have. Any
and all Glory of this testimony is God's Glory I am simply being a witness.
I was 29 when the Lord healed me and raised me up. I am 53 now. That is 24
years the Lord by His Mercy and Grace, has given so far to serve him.

I can tell you right now in the fear of God, that the Command I received To
Gather His Apostles (Sept 96) is true and it is a very serious matter. The
words and visions that the Lord has given me about the near future are given
for the purpose of preparation. It is not God's Will that His People should
be taken by surprise and ill prepared. However all I can do is relay what He
has told me, to all of you. The Lord told me in Jan of 2001 to just begin
calling the Church to Order as we continue to Gather His Apostles.

There was something in one of the newsletters I wrote early on that has
bothered me. I just couldn't see it coming to pass. It was in Vol. 2 where I
talked about the Lord using television in this work to Gather His Apostles.
It was early 1997 when I wrote that, several months before the Lord told me
to buy a computer and go online. In the past couple of years the Lord has
been showing me that it is a world wide video broadcast on the internet or a
web cast. I have been following the technology as it has been unfolding and
the Lord has provided some of the equipment already.

It was the Lord's Will at the meeting we had in Knoxville in Dec. 2001 that
we do a live streaming broadcast to the net tying us together with the Body
of Christ who would and the Apostles who couldn't attend to stand in His
Authority against the evil intended for the world and the Body of Christ. I
believe the Lord didn't let it happen because there was so much division
intended for that meeting. What I learned from trying to set that up with
numerous hotels, is that we need our own equipment (Satellite uplink etc.) to
feed to the internet independent of the Hotels and phone company from
wherever the Lord takes us.

The tares and the wheat will remain until the end. But we are not mindless
unthinking plants who cannot decide for themselves or change their position. We are required by the Lord to make righteous judgments. We cannot afford to accept every doctrine
as truth.

I have been trying to stay focused and finish the book the Lord has told me
to write. It is important. I have learned much in this journey and it must
be published in paperback form very soon and distributed to the Body of Christ.

The next Apostles Gathering will be September 26, 27, and 28, 2002. As I
said in the last News Letter the Lord told me the foolishness must be
removed from our midst. This is Kingdom Business for the purpose of Calling
the Church to Order according to the Command I have received from the Lord.
For those of you who want to attend as an Apostle who haven't been through
the discernment process please send us an email giving a testimony of your
walk with the Lord and tell us why you say you are an Apostle. For
simplicity write TESTIMONY in the subject line of your email. We have
definite reason for doing it this way. Please don't assume another approach
